"Cuore di Bue" Tomato
The known "Cuore di bue" tomato (or beef tomato), can be found in many italian kitchens, mostly used for the preparation of the "Caprese", a typical recipe of this area.
This tomato can be combined with many different dishes, the fruit is almost seedless and it is not very juicy. The cuore di bue is also characterised by the perfect balance of flavours, since it is neither sweet nor sour.
Its big and irregular shape resembles that of a heart, which bears a tasty and solid pulp.
